HOW DOES THE AUCTION/FUNDRAISING WORK?

• AUCTIONS occur from October 1-31

• 2023 Auctions will be “LIVE” on the participants’ Instagram accounts, and some will be “LIVE” on the @AWEtober Instagram account

TO BID ON AUCTIONS:

- Follow @AWEtober FOR ALL AUCTION UPDATES

- Follow EACH ARTIST’S INSTAGRAM ACCOUNTS for their AUCTION INFORMATION.

- Click on the HIGHLIGHTS BUTTON to view all of the 2023 participating artists/authors

- FOLLOW the instructions on the AUCTION POST to place a bid.

Notes about the individual auctions:
The artists will determine how they are participating in the auction/fundraiser:

A) AUCTION—The artist determines the following:
1) auction start date/time, duration, and end date/time.
2) item details
3) shipping parameters
4) lost item parameters
5) proof of donation

B) FUNDRAISER: If an artist chooses not to hold an auction, but wants to sell or donate to the entities, they may choose to do so however they wish, and are asked to please send a final tally of funds raised for the AWEtober event to shirley (at) shirleyngbenitez (dot) com. Thank you!

Shirley (@AWEtober on Instagram) will:
1) post at this website, a list of all participating artists and websites
2) post participating artists and their Instagram account information on the @AWEtober account on Instagram
3) share the artists’ auctions on Instagram stories and on Twitter
4) provide funding updates
5) provide a final tally of funds raised
6) host an auction on her @shirleysillos account in October, 2023.
